River Bend Nature Center to Offer Basics of Camping Program

If camping with your family is something you have always wanted to try, then this program is for you! This camping program takes place on June 22 staff will teach you how to set up a tent and some basic camp craft. After setting up camp, participants will learn to cook a delicious, nutritious meal that easy to make while camping. Of course there will be s’mores and a relaxing  campfire before bed. In the morning participants will make an awesome breakfast before breaking camp. Food, tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping pads provided. This program takes place on-site. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Pre-registration is required. Registration is limited, maximum of 16 participants. River Bend Nature Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that specializes in nature and environmental education.
