OF THE VALLEY CANNON VALLEY TRAIL EVENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 2013
It’s
been a great summer and so many gave of their time, talents and treats to
support the Trail and I “Thank You” all. It’s been a fun time
for
me as well.
September
7- Rod Johnson, Archaeologist will again be on the Trail to answer questions
and show his “flintknapping” techniques. He has an interesting assortment of
artifacts and you will find he is very interesting and knowledgeable about the
History of Minnesota.
September
21- For the first time on the Cannon Valley Trail the” Boat House Band” from
Red Wing will entertain everyone with their great music.
Events
are scheduled at the Welch Access 9.6 miles on the trail from Cannon Falls and
very near to Welch. Time: 11a-2pm Saturdays. Everyone is welcome not just
bikers, weather permitting. Resource persons will be available
