Sheriff: Dakota County Jail Population Growing

Over the past several weeks, the jail population has continued to climb. During the past week, the average daily population stood at 266 inmates. We continue to board our

female inmates at the Ramsey County Workhouse and, over the past week, we averaged 46 per day.
