Sheriff: Wood Post Goes Through Car's Windshield

A Tragedy Averted ...

Deputies responded to a car that went off the road in the area of Blackbird and Ravenna Trail.  The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle, which was very fortunate.  The car slid into a fence, resulting in a support post coming through the windshield on the passenger’s sideof the car.  As the photo shows, had there been a passenger in the car they would have been seriously injured and possibly killed.
