'Erratic' Passenger Has Meltdown After Emergency Landing: Video

Police removed the woman from the plane in Rochester, Minnesota, and transported her to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.

ROCHESTER, MN — A passenger suffered a meltdown Monday after a Spirit Airlines plane made an emergency landing in Rochester, Minnesota. Video from Chianti Washington shows a woman yelling and cursing while running up and down the aisle.

"You know who my brothers are?" she asked a fellow passenger. "They're f------ Marine snipers! You wanna ---- with a f------ Marine?"

The flight left Houston at about 8 a.m. bound for Minneapolis, but was diverted to Rochester after a man suffered a diabetic reaction.

The woman told authorities she is a military veteran who suffers from post traumatic stress disorder, was traveling alone and panicked, ABC 6 News reports.

Police removed the woman and transported her to a hospital for a mental health evaluation, KARE 11 reports.

"Yesterday morning a flight from Houston to Minneapolis had to land in Rochester, Minnesota due to a Guest experiencing a medical emergency," Spirit Airlines spokesperson Derek Dombrowski told Patch.

"On the ground in Rochester, another passenger became erratic and irate and was removed from the aircraft with the assistance of law enforcement. We apologize to our Guests who had to witness this and for the inconvenience of the delay."
