Adam Starr has become an Internet sensation and national inspirational after he posted a video on Youtube last week of him doing backflips and tumbling.

Starr lost his right leg to cancer in 2009. The video shows his first time in the gym after losing his leg to cancer, which is in remission, according to St. Olaf.

Since posting the video on YouTube on July 6, it has been viewed nearly 500,000 times. ABC, the Huffington Post and Twin Cities network affiliates have all put Starr's story in front of people.
"It was depressing. I had a couple friends that I really enjoyed doing acrobatics with, and I wasn't able to dive anymore," Starr told ABC. "It was tough to realize I wasn't able to do those things anymore and that I probably wouldn't be able to ever again."
