Upcoming Road Closures for Defeat of Jesse James Days 2016

The city of Northfield has announced the following road closures related to the Defeat of Jesse James Days festival, going on Sept. 7-11.

Tuesday, week of DJJD, Sept. 6
• Close Water St. Lot after 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, week of DJJD, Sept. 7

• Close off Bridge Square starting at 6:00 a.m. for concessions

Thursday, week of DJJD, Sept. 8

• Close off 400 block of Division for 2 p.m. Kids tractor pull in evening, 400 block will bee closed overnight

• Shutdown 5th Street from Water to Division after 1:00 p.m.

• 500 & 600 Block of Division Street shutdown after 4:00 p.m.

• Bleachers set up early AM. People Barricades set up later in the morning

• Leave 400 Blk shutdown

Saturday, week of DJJD, Sept. 10

• Soap Box Derby 8 a.m. 3rd Street, Poplar Street, 4th and Linden Street

• 10 a.m. Kiddie parade 600 block to 2nd and Division

• Shutdown 5th Street from Division to Washington (10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.)

• From 2nd street to 4th street Division Street will be temporarily shut down before every
bank raid. After each bank raid the street will reopen.
