VIDEO: Northfield Boys Hockey Loses to New Prague; Season Over

The Raiders lost Thursday night 4-0 at New Prague.

After scorching Austin on Tuesday with a 9-0 win, the Northfield boys hockey team on Thursday couldn't score against New Prague in Section 1A play.

In the quarterfinal match, New Prague scored four times—one on an empty-net goal.

The Trojans scored once in the first period, twice in the second period and got the late empty-netter to clinch the game.

New Prague won both regular season match-ups, as well.

The loss ends the season for the Raiders, which went 9-15 in the regular season.

Sophomore Andrew Scofield led the team with 34 points, 22 of which were goals.

Defenseman Jared Docken led the team with 15 assists.
