“We’re trying to reach people who are looking for a place in which to raise a family or start a business,” said Scott Richardson, director of community relations at Northfield Hospital & Clinics and a member of the project advisory group, in a press release. “This is a vibrant and creative community, and we want people to get a sense of what it’s like to live and work here.”

The videos are split into webisodes and are also combined together for a longer, 14-minute video.

“We’ve packed in a lot of information, but it is told spontaneously by a wide range of people in the community,” said Jody Gunderson, director of community development for the city. “That is one of the strongest selling points of Northfield. People here are passionate about the town, and they love to talk about it. They are our best salespeople.”

Project funding was provided by the Northfield Economic Development Authority, Northfield Hospital & Clinics, Carleton College, St. Olaf College, the Northfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, Northfield Real Estate Fund, The Archer House River Inn and Rebound Enterprises.

The videos can be found on YouTube and the city's website.  They are also attached to this article for your convenience.
