The Northfield Middle School’s Winter Concert on Tuesday was played for a standing-room only audience.
Under the direction of Paul Beck and Ethan Freier, the seventh- and eighth-grade jazz band, sixth-grade band, seventh-grade band and eighth-grade bands all took the stage to showcase their talents, and what they have learned thus far into the school year.
All students rehearse every other day in a large group setting, and are also required to take either private lessons outside of school, or take lessons at NMS once every eight days during the school day with one of the directors.
