Here are some ideas for activities to take part in during the second weekend of February:
1) A Chorus Line at St. Olaf College
When/Where: 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, and Saturday, Feb. 11; .

Why Go: This is the opening weekend of St. Olaf’s production of the award-winning Broadway play. Performances also are planned for Feb. 16, 17 and 18.

2) Meredith & The McKinstrys With Chris Koza at Northfield Arts Guild
When/Where: 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10;
Why Go: Northfield music favorites Meredith Fierke, Steve McKinstry and Dylan McKinstry will play a concert in tandem with Twin Cities legend-in-the-making Chris Koza for a night of intimate, acoustic, atmospheric pop-folk music at the Northfield Arts Guild.
3) Rainbow Community Celebration and Forum: Marriage Equality From the Heart
When/Where: 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11;
Why Go: The fourth annual Rainbow Community Celebration will include an interfaith forum on marriage equality with a dessert reception following. The panel of speakers features Javen Swanson, M. Div. and spokesperson with OutFront Minnesota; Phil Duran, founding member of the MN Lavender Bar Association; and student representatives from St. Olaf and Carleton College speaking on the topic “Marriage Equality From the Heart.”
4) The Big Wu's 20th Anniversary Performance at the Upstairs Rueb
When/Where: 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11;
Why Go: Legendary jam icons The Big Wu will perform “two full sets packed with songs from our entire career. Something old, something you never heard us perform. Just like the way it has always been and will always be.”
5) St. Olaf Band Home Concert
When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12;
Why Go: Following their tour of the West coast, the band will perform at its home venue. Timothy Mahr is the conductor.
