WINGS Offers $10,000 'Dare to Dream' Award

WINGS (Women in Northfield Giving Support) will award a one-time, $10,000 grant to a local non-profit with the most compelling dream to help women and/or children in the Northfield area reach their full potential. The Dare to Dream Award winner will be announced in June 2014.

WINGS is seeking proposals from non-profit organizations that are innovative, impact the community and build capacity. Risk taking is encouraged. Each proposal must outline an idea that could not be carried out without this financial award. Proposals for new endeavors and enhancements to current initiatives are welcome.

Proposals for the Dare to Dream Award will be accepted at the same time as applications for WINGS annual grants. Applicants are encouraged to apply for either or both. WINGS grants to qualified non-profit organizations, public schools and government organizations for the purpose of general community support. Projects funded must benefit residents of the Northfield School District.
