Woodard to Host Meetings with Area Residents

Rep. Kelby Woodard (R-District 25B) will give residents five to 10 minutes to chat with him in Lonsdale.

State Rep. Kelby Woodard has scheduled a morning “office hours” session for Saturday, June 25, at the library in Lonsdale, 639 Elm St. NE.

Woodard, a Republican in his first term, is inviting local residents to meet with him individually to discuss issues that are important to them. Appointments can be made for five- to 10-minute discussions between 9 and 11 a.m. Woodard represents residents from Belle Plaine, Lonsdale, Northfield and numerous townships and smaller communities in District 25B.

“I am committed to remain connected and available to the residents of my district as we continue to face crucial decisions,” Woodard said. “I am working to put our state on a sustainable path and the input I receive from local citizens is a very important part of the process. These meetings will be a great time for local residents to stop by and let me know their thoughts on the issues.

“I anticipate most people will want to discuss the state’s budget and other topics pertaining to the economy, but you never know what may be on someone’s mind. I look forward to some productive conversations.”

Appointments can be made by calling 651-296-5526. Walk-ins are also welcome and will be worked into the schedule as time allows.
