Work on Hwy. 246 in Northfield Begins

In an email to the Northfield City Council on Monday, Administrator Tim Madigan says repaving of Hwy. 246 has begun.

In an email to Madigan, Northfield Engineering Tech Sean Simonson said the goal is to have the area up to CSAH 1 paved before Labor Day.

"They will be working on curb and sidewalk removals, and installing new ADA accessible pedestrian ramps for the majority of the week," Simonson wrote. "They have backed up the milling and re-paving portion through town, that is not scheduled to start until on or around August 25."
