Kinderberry Hill Spanish Immersion Preschool Open House

Kinderberry Hill, Woodbury, invites the public to an open house on Thursday, April 25 from 5 to 6:30 pm to learn about their Spanish Immersion Preschool Program, beginning September, 2013. 

Guests may tour the building and the preschool classroom, learn about the “High Reach” Kindergarten Readiness curriculum that will be utilized, plus enjoy Spanish crafts and music.     

Guests can also meet and talk to the program “Maestra” (teacher in Spanish), Adriana Kolodny.  Ms. Kolodny grew up in Brazil speaking Portuguese and has been fluent in Spanish for over fifteen years. She holds degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education.  She is currently the Spanish Enrichment teacher at Kinderberry Hill and has taught Portuguese, Spanish, and English to students of all ages.  “Educating young children is my passion,’” said Ms. Kolodny.  “I look forward to teaching in a Spanish Immersion setting. ”
