As for walking, alls fair, but for biking, the best trails in Oakdale are NOT in Oakdale.
I continually have to drive to MPLS to get good bike rides in. Gateway Trail is ok, but crowed and to close for comfort on any week end.
Some city planner aught to trek to Mpls and see quality pavement, and width and scenery.
