Good morning Oakdale!

Dr. Adam DeLaForest describes why he became a chiropractor.

Good morning Oakdale!  Since this is my first time posting on the Patch I would like to tell you a little about myself and why I am here.  As a teenager I began experiencing daily headaches following numerous contact injuries while playing football and wrestling.  After seeing my family physician and trying numerous medications my mother brought me to her chiropractor to see if there was anything he could do to relieve my headaches.  After a couple of weeks my headaches had almost completely subsided.  I walked away with a lot of questions about chiropractic and hoped someday I would be able to help other people the same way my chiropractor had helped me.

I attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus and completed a BS in kinesiology.  During my at the U of M I obtained a personal trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and began working as a personal trainer and fitness consultant.  From there I attended Northwestern Chiropractic College in Bloomington, MN and graduated Cum Laude in 2007.

Since August of 2007 I have been practicing at Parkview Chiropractic Clinic here in Oakdale.  I enjoy helping a wide variety of people achieve and maintain there health goals.  For more information on conditions that we treat and reasons people come into our office please check out our website.
