The 110-inch rocket was mounted Red Square May Day Style on the Century facilities services truck. This was the rocket that Century students fired three times for the NASA competition. It is still in perfect condition, thanks to the student who designed the parachute recovery system.

The two smaller rockets on top of the cab are the half-scale rockets that were launched five times. The STEM logo on the rocket is a tribute to Don Craighead, who has dedicated himself to the furtherance of STEM at Century College. Don rode in the truck to share in the students’ success.
A special thank you to Bob Lafavor, Bob Plasch and Bob Dexter for all their help. Thanks also to President Ron Anderson and his daughter, Mari, who walked the parade and handed out Century Rocket Launch Frisbees and candy.
