Century College theater presents The Diviners, a drama regarding the relationship between a disturbed young man and a disenchanted preacher during the 1930s.

"The Diviners is a fascinating story that bristles with psychological undercurrents and a hint of Greek Tragedy. Set in rural Indiana in the early 1930s, the drama tells the story of a young man named Buddy whose mother died while trying to save him from drowning. Ironically, Buddy has developed an uncanny ability to find water for his drought-besieged farm community.
When a disillusioned preacher comes to the farm seeking food and a job, a unique bond develops between Buddy and the preacher. Drama ensues when the preacher’s efforts to help Buddy produce a chain of events that involve the entire community."
