Woodbury Leadership Academy (WLA) is a tuition-free, K-12 public charter school where high expectations and success matter to all! Our learning environment and school community promotes academic achievement for students in grades K-12, as well as personal integrity, equity and a dedication to value and serve others. We use inquiry based learning by teaching the Core Knowledge Curriculum — building strong skills in math, reading, writing, history, science and technology. School District 622 will meet tonight to discuss a new health and safety policy, among other things. Late in the 2012 legislative session, health and safety statues were changed and all districts are now required to have a policy in place. 3. The Washington County Library in Oakdale will host a today. Stories, songs and finger plays aid in the development of early literacy skills, according to the library. 4. <a href="http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/great-emigration-departs-for-oregon" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">On this day</a> in 1843, a massive wagon train made up of 1,000 settlers traveled across the dangerous Oregon Trail.  5.
