The Titans face a talented field in the Blaine Invitational Thursday. Shaelyn Sorensen and Erika Nolby have shown that they are among the state’s top runners. The younger runners are hoping to continue to show improvement as the season winds down. The Simley Invitational is next Tuesday with the Classic Suburban Conference Championships and Section 3AA Championships coming up later this month. The Titans have been a power in the Classic Suburban Conference, finishing runner-up the past two years and winning the 2005, 2006 and 2007 titles.

Shaelyn Sorensen - Tartan
The 10th-grader finished fourth in the Swain Invite with a time of 15:27.1 (4K) this past weekend and set a career best time of 14:57.7 at the Milaca Mega Meet the previous weekend as she finished fourth.
Erika Nolby – Tartan
The eighth-grader finished fifth in the Swain Invite with a time of 15:43.3 this past weekend and set a career best time of 15:13.9 at the Milaca Mega Meet the previous weekend as she finished eighth.
Alie Mack – Tartan
The junior finished fifth in the Swain Invite with a time of 17:37.9 this past weekend and set a career best time of 16:58.3 at the Milaca Mega Meet the previous weekend as she finished 82nd.
