K-9 Unit Visits Transfiguration Vacation Bible School
The police visit fit in with the week's "Main Street" theme.
One of the Washington County Sheriff's Department's furry, four-legged investigators visited Wednesday for the church's vacation Bible school program.
K-9 officer Jason Dahms answered questions from the kids—in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade—about the sheriff's department dog, Dozer, and even showed them a few tricks.
As part of the program's "Main Street" theme, the group was also scheduled to have an Oakdale Fire Department truck stop by Friday.
