Brat Pack Radio
- When/Where: Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at the bandshell.
- Why Go: This is your last chance to take in an outdoor concert at the bandshell this summer and this promises to be a fun one!
- Geared Toward: Everyone.
- Price: Free.
Fishing Clinic

- When/Where: Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 23 and 24 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Maplewood Nature Center.
- Why Go: If you’ve never fished before, are a little bit rusty or just want to introduce your kids to the sport, this is a great class. The first night you’ll meet at the Maplewood Nature Center and the second night you’ll try out your new found skills on Silver Lake.
- Geared Toward: Anyone with an interest in fishing.
- Price: Free – equipment is provided but adults will need to have a Minnesota fishing license. Preregister by Aug. 19.
Como Zoo at the Discovery Center
- When/Where: Saturday, Aug. 20 from 1 – 2 p.m. at the amphitheater.
- Why Go: Learn about why bugs are so beneficial and even get up close and personal with a few.
- Geared Toward: Everyone.
- Price: Free.
Geocaching

- When/Where: Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Minnesota History Center.
- Why Go: Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy some Cajun music on the lawn. If the heat and the humidity makes a come back it’ll be almost like you were in a Louisiana bayou!
