McDonald’s Groundbreaking Scheduled May 18
The franchise owner said he's hoping to open in early August.
The owner of a new McDonald’s franchise slated for a spot near Oakdale’s hopes to have the restaurant open in early August, he said.
Owner Oscar Binder, of Woodbury, said they are planning to start construction the week of May 16, with a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for May 18.
The restaurant will employ 70 people, he said, and applications are being taken at www.mcminnesota.com/29339/.

There will be a double-lane drive-through, he said, and the interior will feature a plasma television and free wireless Internet.
Binder said his organization also owns McDonald’s restaurants in Maplewood and White Bear Lake.
