North High School Theatre Guys and Dolls

North
Theatre presents Guys and

Dolls
, the musical fable of Broadway from October 24 - November 2, 2013.

Set in Damon Runyan's mythical New York City, this oddball romantic comedy soars
with the spirit of Broadway as it introduces us to a cast of vivid characters
who have become legends in the canon: Sarah Brown, the upright, uptight
"mission doll", out to reform the evildoers of Times Square; Sky
Masterson, the slick high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up

falling in love; Adelaide, the chronically ill night-club performer whose condition
is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for fourteen
years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiancé.  It takes us form the heart
of Times Square to the cafes of Havana and even into the sewers of  New York City.

The original production of "GUYS & DOLLS" got what might be the most
unanimously ecstatic reviews in Broadway history.

For
every five decades it continues to be a crown favorite, playing in venues of
all levels throughout the world.

For
the past seven weeks, we have been working hard in rehearsals to produce a
meaningful and entertaining musical theatre experience for all in
attendance.
