Oakdale Police Blotter: Door Smashed, Items Stolen at Smokedale Tobacco
Oakdale police recently received reports of items missing and identity theft.

The following items are taken from the Oakdale Police Department. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Identity theft
A resident in the 6000 block of Stillwater Boulevard reported on Nov. 30 that someone accessed her US Bank account online, removed $6,500 from it, and changed her passwords. The bank is investigating the incident.

A resident in the 6400 block of 46th Street reported on Nov. 30 that someone used an expired debit card a day earlier for a $100 purchase. The person reportedly attempted to use the card three more times, but police don't know where.
Fraudulent prescription

A Target pharmacist reported that on Nov. 26 a woman from Altoona, WI, attempted to get Oxycodone using a prescription the pharmacist determined to be fraudulent. The woman left the store without the drugs, and she has not yet been identified.
Fraudulent checks
Mills Fleet Farm reported that a St. Paul suspect passed five fraudulent checks between Aug. 13 and Aug. 15.
Disorderly conduct
A 15-year-old and 16-year-old were cited for disorderly conduct at Tartan High School around 8 a.m. Dec. 1 after a shoving match escalated into a fist fight.
Property damage
Someone reportedly smashed out the front passenger window of a vehicle parked in the lot at Audio Video Planners on Nov. 30.
Theft
A Tartan High School student reported on Nov. 29 that his $90 Nike Air Force shoes were stolen from his unlocked gym locker.
A resident in the 1800 block of Granada Avenue reported Nov. 29 that a Holiday gas card had been stolen from her car within the last two weeks.
A resident in the 6500 block of Second Street reported on Dec. 1 that someone stole outgoing bill payments from her mailbox. Four checks were taken.
A man reportedly stole a 12-pack of beer from SuperAmerica at 10th Street and Geneva Avenue Dec. 1.
Residents in the 3700 block of Goodwin Avenue reported Dec. 1 that someone stole approximately $200 worth of items from their home including 12 Tylenol with codeine pills.
A St. Paul woman was cited for allegedly stealing a police scanner worth $80 from Mills Fleet Farm and released Dec. 1.
Burglary
Police learned on Dec. 1 that the glass door of Smokedale Tobacco had been smashed out, causing $500 damage, and about $500 worth of cigarettes stolen. Police found a trailer hitch inside the business they believe was used to smash the window out.
DWI
Leslie Greene, 52, of Oakdale, was arrested on a pending third-degree DWI charge at 10th Street and Greenway Avenue Dec. 1.
