Oakdale Police Blotter: Girl Accidentally Summons Police, Man at Home Arrested

A resident reported a neighbor's dog went under his fence and killed his dog.

What started with a 7-year-old playing with a phone ended up with a man at her house getting arrested, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.

Police responded to the 1300 block of Gentry Avenue around 5 p.m. Saturday, May 28, after getting a 911 hang-up call.

Police determined that the girl had accidentally made the call, the report says. The man who answered the door when police arrived, though, had a felony ineligible voter warrant, the report says. Police arrested him and took him to the Washington County Jail, according to the report.
