Oakdale Police Blotter: Girlfriend Suspected of Hitting Ex-Wife's Car
In other reports, three foreign exchange students from Afghanistan ran away from Oakdale's Best Western while staying there for a workshop.

A Coon Rapids woman reported Sunday, May 15, that her car was damaged while parked in the 600 block of Grafton Avenue, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.
The woman had been talking with her ex-husband in a garage when his girlfriend became angry outside of the garage and threatened to damage her vehicle, according to the police report.
The complainant then heard tires squeal, a crash noise and saw that her car had been struck on the front right quarter, the report says.

The girlfriend and her car were gone, according to the report. Police did not immediately make contact with anyone at the home, and were waiting to contact the female suspect and male witness, according to the report.

- Someone broke a window out at causing more than $500 damage.
May 14:
- Two juveniles were transported to Regions Hospital around 5:30 a.m. with injuries after their vehicle rolled over in the 3700 block of Geneva Avenue. The 18-year-old driver emitted an odor of alcoholic beverages, according to the police report. There were four juveniles in the vehicle., two were uninjured.
- Between 9 p.m. May 13 and 5 a.m. May 14 someone smashed out the rear window of a van parked at Professional Drain Service ( at 7500 Hudson Blvd.) and stole $17,900 worth of items including a laptop, fiber optic camera system, pro camera locator and hand tools.
- A program administrator for the American Councils for International Education reported that three foreign exchange students from Afghanistan ran away from the hotel in Oakdale while staying there for a workshop. The complainant said the students, who were scheduled to return to Afghanistan in June, might be headed to Canada to seek asylum. The students were a 17-year-old female who had been staying in Iowa, a 15-year-old female who had been staying in southern Minnesota and a 17-year-old male who had been staying in Wisconsin.
- Visa debit cards, a Minnesota driver’s license and a Social Security card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of Glenbrook Avenue.
- Between 2 and 3:45 p.m. someone smashed out the front driver’s side window of a car parked at , but did not steal anything. The damage estimate is $250.
May 15:
- Between 8:30 p.m. May 14 and 6:30 a.m. May 15 someone stole $719 worth of items from a construction truck parked in the 6300 block of Upper 44th Street.
- Four credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 7400 block of Upper 20th Street.
- Someone stole a garage door opener from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1900 block of Helena Court N. Nothing else was stolen.
- Items including a digital camera, binoculars, a GPS device and a toolbox with a total value of $2,400 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 5400 block of Golfview Avenue.
