Oakdale Police Blotter: Occupied Home Burglarized
In other reports, two pricey electronics were stolen from backpacks at the Walton Park skate park.

A home in the 1200 block of Guthrie Avenue was burglarized overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday while at least one resident was home, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.
The complainant said the door must have been unlocked, and the thieves must have come in quietly while she was sleeping.
She woke up to find the cat outside and her purse on a ledge near the front door with nothing missing. Stolen was $40 cash from a wallet and $28 cash from a money clip in the home.

- A Maplewood teen reported that someone stole his $600 iPhone from his backpack while he was at the skate park.
- An Oakdale man reported that someone had fraudulently opened two AT&T accounts and one credit card account in his name.
- A bracelet, stereo and sunglasses with a total value of $400 were stolen from a car parked at between 8:30 and 11 p.m. The driver’s side door lock had been turned out with a hand tool causing $150 damage.
June 29:
- Nigerian currency worth $150 was stolen overnight from a car parked in a driveway in the 7100 block of 13th Street.
- A resident in the 7000 block of 37th Street reported that her front license tab was removed overnight.
- A woman reported that her purse was stolen while she was moving out of an apartment in the 6200 block of 12th Street. She had left her apartment door open, and it was stolen while she was taking things to her vehicle. The staff at the building had located the purse, but her $100 cell phone and financial cards were stolen from the purse.
- An Oakdale woman reported that someone obtained her Dell financial account number and charged four computers totaling $2,984 to her account. It is unknown how the information was obtained.
- Two unlocked, $350 bicycles were stolen from the bike rack at between 5 and 5:20 p.m.
- A $350 iPod touch was stolen from a backpack in the skate park between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
- Police arrested a 58-year-old St. Paul woman at Hadley Avenue and Highway 5 whom they found to be driving a stolen vehicle. The woman said it was purchased by her granddaughter several months ago.
