Oakdale Police Blotter: Twin Cities Pawn Burglarized
In other reports, a laptop was reported stolen from a vehicle.

Someone broke out the front window of around 2 a.m. Thursday, April 21, and stole three to four knives, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.
The person broke two glass display cases to get to the knives, which have a total value of about $50, the report says.
Police responded after an alarm went off, established a perimeter and searched the building with a K-9 unit, but found no one.

The suspect caused $800 worth of damage to the window.

April 18:
- A resident in the 7600 block of Stillwater Avenue called police to report that a neighbor blew some sort of whistle from inside of his house to purposely harass her dogs. The neighbor denied blowing a whistle.
- Two men stole a $399 Playstation 3 and $399 Xbox 360 from and drove off. Police have two suspects.
- A juvenile was cited after allegedly punching his sister in the face several times and then punching a neighbor who tried to assist in the 1000 block of Hadley Avenue.
April 19:
- Someone broke out the driver’s side rear window of a car and stole a laptop while it was parked in a driveway in the 3900 block of Granada Avenue between 10 p.m. April 18 and 6:30 a.m. April 19. The laptop is valued at $2,100 and the damage estimate was $500.
- Between 12:15 and 3:15 p.m. April 18, someone broke both outside mirrors on a vehicle parked at , causing $200 damage.
- An employee at at Helmo Avenue and 10th Street reported that someone pumped $91 worth of fuel into a van and then drove off without paying for it. The complainant had a license plate number and police are following up.
- A woman reported she was sitting in a vehicle in the 3800 block of Granada Lane when her husband’s ex-girlfriend came outside, opened her car door and punched her in the face. The woman had a black eye. The suspect left prior to police arrival.
April 20:
- A man was arrested in the 1200 block of Glenbrook Avenue around 2:30 a.m. for allegedly punching his girlfriend in the face while they were arguing. The woman has visible signs of injury including a black eye, bruising and swelling.
- A resident in the 1700 block of Hallmark Avenue reported that three times in the past three weeks someone has broken an egg in her mailbox.
- A resident in the 7600 block of Stillwater Boulevard reported a series of suspicious incidents that have occurred throughout this year including a security light being shot out by a BB, a healthy dog dying unexpectedly, a piece of mail being stolen, and a tire being slashed on her vehicle and four knives being found in her yard.
- A window in was shattered around 10:30 p.m. causing more than $500 damage. There was a small hole in the upper right-hand corner of the window, and it appeared it might have been hit by a BB.
April 21:
- A resident in the 1300 block of Gentry Avenue reported around 2 a.m. that someone smashed the driver’s side window out of her car, causing $200 damage, but didn’t steal anything.
- A car hit the Interstate 694 bridge at 10th Street while heading east and spun out during icy road conditions at 7:20 a.m., sustaining severe front-end damage. When the driver started to drive again, she hit another vehicle. The accident was listed as property damage and the report does not mention injuries.
- Police stopped a car at Geneva Avenue and 24th Street around 1:30 p.m. for having an expired registration and found that the driver had a revoked license and a baggie of what field-tested positive as marijuana. The driver was cited for having an expired registration, driving after revocation and possessing a small amount of marijuana.
