Oakdale Residents Appointed to County Advisory Committees
Local citizens working in areas of child protection, workforce and historic courthouse

Several Oakdale residents were appointed to Washington County advisory groups.
Oakdale resident Jane Klein was appointed to the Workforce Investment Board, according to a press release.
The Workforce Investment Board determines the most effective designation of administrative entities, grant recipients and program operators for the Workforce Service Area, the press release says.

Laurie Aaronson and Gina Kuchenmeister, also of Oakdale were appointed to the Citizens Review Panel.
The Citizen Review Panel gives citizens an integral role in ensuring that Child Protection Service Systems are protecting children from abuse and neglect and are meeting the permanency needs of children, the press release says.

Kenneth Heuer, of Oakdale, was appointed to the Washington County Historic Courthouse Advisory Committee.
The advisory committee reviews current operation and long-range plans of the Historic Courthouse, according to the release.
