Oakdale Runners Finish Grandma's Marathon

Runners flocked to Duluth on Saturday to participate in the 36th annual Grandma's Marathon. Berhanu Girma, 25, was the fastest male finisher with a time of 2:12:24. Everlyne Lagat, 31, finished first for the women with a time of 2:33:13.

Two women and nine men from Oakdale finished the 26.2 mile race. Doug Kleemeier, 46, had the fastest time of the bunch, placing 65th out of 3,423 males.
