For the first time in the history of Minnesota's largest candy company, Pearson Candy Company is making a play for Halloween with new bite-size offerings, a partnership with Anoka Halloween and the chance to trick-or-treat at its St. Paul factory. To commemorate the candy-filled holiday, Pearson's is opening the "House of Pearson" to fans of its iconic brands for a Halloween-themed celebration, including:
- Trick-or-treating for full-size candy bars
- Carnival games
- Photos with the Pearson Candy Company and Bit-O-Honey mascots
- The chance to win a one-of-a-kind door prize, a VIP tour of the candy factory
During the celebration, event attendees can purchase Pearson's Halloween-friendly bite-size candy at $3 per pound, including new bite size Nut Goodies, new bite size Salted Nut Rolls, Mint Patties and Bit-O-Honey. As an extension of the company's "Do Goodie" program - a charity program benefiting Midwest organizations - 50 cents of each purchase will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of the Upper Midwest and Pearson's will match the proceeds raised by candy sales.
