Woman Hit By Car, Injured

A St. Paul woman was injured Tuesday when she was run over by her own car in the 3800 block of Granada Lane, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.

The woman had allowed her 11-year-old grandson to start the car, the report says.

The car hit her, and also ran over a bicycle before stopping on a curb, according to the report.

The incident was reported at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police cited the woman for allowing the boy to drive the car, and the Oakdale Fire Department transported her to Regions Hospital.
