Community Corner

Women's writing group informational meeting

Women of Words (WOW)
started in 1997 by a few like-minded women writers, brings talented, gifted and
diverse writers together to share their experiences and expertise. They offer support,
guidance, and solace for the soul. Two groups, currently more than 90 members
strong, meet monthly over lunch in the Bloomington and Eden Prairie area, to
network and share updates on current projects. There is no cost except for
lunch.

Interest
has been growing to add a WOW East chapter to the mix. Prior to establishing a Women
of Words community in the northeast side of the Twin Cities, an informational
meeting is planned for wome interested in exploring the world of writing – all
forms and facets. Please join
us at the Lake Elmo Public Library (3537 Lake Elmo Avenue North, Lake Elmo, MN)
for the initial gathering on Monday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to noon, in the
library meeting room.
