10 Year Anniversary of Sept. 11 Observance

A free public event commemorating the 10th year since Sept. 11, 2001, will be 3-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at Grace Church in Eden Prairie.

The Plymouth Fire Department and other metro public safety departments invite the public to a memorial ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11.

The observance will feature a public safety display inside and outside Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Road in Eden Prairie.

The free event begins at noon and the memorial ceremony is 3-4:30 p.m.

To support this event, the Plymouth Fire Department is selling commemorative T-shirts, which are available 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon.-Fri. at the Plymouth Fire Department Administrative Offices, 3400 Plymouth Blvd.

Shirts cost $18 and cash or check are accepted. The proceeds will go to help defray the cost of the Memorial Ceremony.
