70mm Print of INTERSTELLAR at Willow Creek Cinemas Twelve

See Christopher Nolan's Sci-Fi Epic The Way It Was Intended To Be Seen. On 70mm Film.

The Minnesota owned and operated Muller Family Theatres - Willow Creek 12 and Lakeville 21 will be running early screenings of Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic Interstellar, beginning Tuesday, November 4th at 8:00pm, 3 days before the film’s wide release on November 7th. Tickets are now on sale.

Lakeville 21 will be running a traditional 35mm film print, and Willow Creek 12 has the honor of being one of the very select few theatres across the nation to run a 70mm motion picture film print.

This marks the first time in 22 years that Willow Creek will run a 70mm film print, the last one being Ron Howard’s Far and Away (1992). 70mm film offers a brighter, clearer, more detailed image, with 3 times the resolution of standard projection formats, using the process of projecting light through celluloid to deliver clear images in rich analog color with state-of-the-art digital sound. Many great epic motion pictures have been presented on 70mm film, including Ben-Hur, West Side Story, Lawrence of Arabia, and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
