• Ken Barlow is forecasting just a few more showers today (kstp.com) — Overnight storms dropped one to nearly four inches of rain across the west metro, including a swath from Minnetonka through Plymouth, with more showers possible through midday. Conditions should gradually dry this afternoon, with sunshine and 70s returning Wednesday before another round of potentially heavy Friday storms ushers in a weekend cooldown.
• Golden Valley Festival invites visitors to 'do the fandango' (hometownsource.com) — A Plymouth teen drummer will take the stage with his band Seafoam Green Tangerine at the Golden Valley Festival on Saturday, Sept. 19, a full-day music and family event near the city's water tower. The festival features food trucks, kids' activities, visual artists, and a Queen tribute band headlining the evening.
