• Plymouth winter clothing donation drop-off event Sept. 26 (hometownsource.com) — A winter clothing donation drive is happening in Plymouth on Saturday, Sept. 26, with drop-offs accepted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. off Highway 169. Donations support the Coated in Love event for people experiencing homelessness, and donors can enjoy a free grilled lunch while they give. Organizers hope Plymouth-area residents will help meet growing winter needs across the Twin Cities.
   

• Family-owned Burnsville cafe to close on Halloween (bringmethenews.com) — A well-loved Burnsville cafe, The Buzz Coffee & Cafe, will close on Halloween after a decade of community-focused work, including donations to schools and nonprofits. The business once operated a second location in Plymouth that shut down in 2021, underscoring how regional independent cafes continue to disappear around the metro.
