Armstrong Student Artists Share Talents With North Memorial Hospital
Armstrong High School students in visual and performing arts have shared their time and talents to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Walk by the street level of the North Memorial Hospital deli and you could see some local talent.
Recently a group of Robbinsdale Armstrong High School students completed a community service project to deck those windows at North Memorial with a seasonal winter motif.
After Armstrong choir and band students performed at the hospital, a representative from North Memorial wanted to incorporate the visual arts also. Nine art students, many of whom are National Honor Society students, volunteered their time to design the windows after school Nov. 22. 29, and spent Dec. 3 painting. The hospital provided funds for materials and a small stipend for the art program.
