Founded by Deborah Peteler, AnnapurnaBlue offers transformative wellness retreats and programs designed for individuals navigating life transitions, health challenges, emotional overwhelm, and personal reinvention. With over 30 years of experience in trauma-informed care and holistic wellness practices, Deborah blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to create safe, supportive environments where real healing can take place. Our retreats — held both locally in Minnesota and internationally — are intentionally designed to help participants slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Through gentle Qigong movement, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, mindset sessions, and meaningful group dialogue, participants gain tools to manage stress, navigate change, and build emotional resilience. AnnapurnaBlue is especially supportive of women ages 35–70+ navigating grief, life-altering illness, menopause, empty nesting, career transitions, and other profound shifts. LaDonna Hoy, Executive Director of IOCP, received a 2012 Community Hero Award from the American Red Cross Northern Minnesota Region in May. Nominated for her commitment to alleviate suffering and bring hope to members of our community, Hoy was one of 10 community heroes to be highlighted for their good works. "We are able to see people build new and hopeful futures. And not just for themselves, but for a whole community," said Hoy. According to her, the real heroes are the families who walk into IOCP and want better lives for their children. "It has been a story of miracles," she said.
