Broadway Extravaganza at West Lutheran H.S. Concert

At its annual spaghetti supper fundraiser concert, the band and choirs performed a variety of show tunes.

On Tuesday Oct. 16, the West Lutheran High School music department held its annual fundraiser Spaghetti Supper and Concert. With the Broadway theme, the Concert Band, Freshman Choir, Concert Choir and Western Accents select choir performed selections from the broadway musicals of George Washington, Jr., Little Johnny Jones, Phantom of the Opera, Annie Get Your Gun, Cats, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicalcolor Dreamcoat.

Prior to the concert, Red's Cafe provided the spaghetti meal with donations totaling over $2,000. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will be matching much of the funds received. The funds raised will be used toward travel expenses for the choirs and band, purchasing additional equipment, and maintaining instruments.

West Lutheran is proud to host the upcoming West Regional WELS Choral Festival:

  • Pops Concert - Friday, November 16 7pm
  • Sacred Concert - Sunday, November 18 2:30pm
