When did you realize you wanted to be a high school coach? Why a coach? My first year of teaching. I was in high school sports (cheer and dance) and I wanted to give other girls what I had in high school – amazing friends and memories.
Who motivated you to become a coach? Honestly, I did it on my own.
If you could coach any team, collegiately or professionally, which would it be? I don’t consider myself talented enough, but it would be an honor to be a part of the University of Kentucky cheer program.
How would you describe your coaching style in three words or less? Motivational, self-esteem building, fun.
What do you like most about coaching? Being with some amazing young ladies. They teach me more than I could ever learn in school.
How do you like to spend your free time away from sports? I love spending time outside, watching scary movies, playing with my dog and spending time with friends.
