Crystal Motorcyclist Killed in Crash after Driving Faster than 100 mph

A Crystal man died Sunday when his motorcycle crashed into a car at Brooklyn Boulevard and Welcome Avenue N. in Brooklyn Park.
Tyron Anthony Somaiah, 23, had been driving on I-94 at speeds faster than 100 miles per hour, according to KARE11, citing the Minnesota State Patrol.
Somiaiah lived on Vera Cruz Avenue N. in Crystal, about a mile east of Plymouth, the State Patrol said in a news release. He died "as a result of multiple blunt force injuries," according to the release. A person in the car was hospitalized with minor injuries, KARE11 said.
