Free oral cancer screening open to the public

Each year,  37,000 people are diagnosed with oral cancer.  The death rate from oral cancer is very high, about 43% of those diagnosed will not survive more than five years.  The good news is the earlier it is detected, the greater the survival rate.

Governor Dayton has declared April as Oral Cancer Awareness Month.

Life Smiles is offering FREE oral cancer screenings to EVERYONE and  ANYONE on April 18th.  There is no obligation for future care or paperwork to fill out.  Screening are quick, about three minutes, and are painless.
