MINNESOTA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS’S PLYMOUTH CAMPUS TO OFFER FREE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS ON MAY 18

On Friday, May 18, Minnesota School of Business – Plymouth invites community members to attend free classes provided by its faculty, staff and students.  These educational workshops are part of Minnesota School of Business’s commitment to building communities through education.  

The events will open with a networking luncheon that takes place beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to attend a number of workshops, including:

  • 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - “Ask a Vet Tech” presentation sharing answers, tips and tactics for a better relationship with your pet.
  • 11:30 a.m. - “State of the Massage Industry” career outlook: learn about trends in the industry and career opportunities for therapists, followed by free chair massages and hand treatments.
  • 11:30 a.m. - “Scrub Away Sickness” presentation provided by the medical assisting program featuring tricks, tips and tactics to avoid illnesses.
  • 12:00 p.m. – “7th Circle of Hell,” a cultural, historical, and irreverent look at money, commerce, credit, banking, economics and politics.
  • 12:10 p.m. – “You Can Never Out-Train a Bad Diet” featuring the pitfalls of not reading labels, smart grocery shopping practices, and the truth about portion size.
