We Can Do Something About Bullying

We Can Do Something About Bullying
October is National Anti-Bullying Month

Learn how to do something about bullying for your children now. The Messiah United Methodist Church in Plymouth, Minn. is stepping forward to give middle-school and high school youth and parents both the awareness and tools to help prevent and deal with bullying.

Phyl Burger, past president of The Bullying Police of Minnesota and professor at Bethel College, is the featured speaker at a presentation on Sunday, September 30, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Messiah United Methodist Church, 17805 County Road 6 in Plymouth. Burger’s presentation will focus on increasing others’ understanding of bullying problems and it’s impact, along with addressing how our faith speaks to this real-world dilemma. Burger will also give parents and youth options to respond to bullying, whether it affects them directly or indirectly.
