The West Lutheran High School girls basketball team will be hosting a Coaches vs. Cancer game against Mayer Lutheran on Thursday, February 23. The JV game will be at 5:30pm and the Varsity game at 7:00pm.
In addition to the game, there will be a bake and t-shirt sales, half-time competitions, pep band and other exciting events with all proceeds donated to the Coaches vs. Cancer program. This will be "Black Out" game, so wear black to support the West Lutheran Warriors and the fight against cancer.
Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to support lifesaving cancer research, education, advocacy, and community service efforts.
