Four New Firefighters Join Plymouth Fire Department
Daniel Erhard, Steven Nelson, Timothy Peterson and Daniel Schnuettgen were sworn in Tuesday.

Four new firefighters took the oath of office at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
The city clerk swore in Daniel Erhard, Steven Nelson, Timothy Peterson and Daniel Schnuettgen after the firefighters successfully completed a one-year training program and probationary period.
“Becoming a Plymouth firefighter takes a significant commitment of time and personal dedication,” a news release quoted Plymouth Fire Chief Richard Kline. “Applicants must complete a comprehensive selection process that includes interviews, a physical ability test, a background investigation, and psychological and medical examinations.”
Plymouth currently has 70 part-time, paid-on-call firefighters.
