Have you stopped by Plymouth Library this week? Did you notice empty shelves with post-it notes on them? Big green wooden carts filled with library materials "available for checkout?" Library workers in the Plymouth Room labeling and taping?
Between June 17 and July 1, Plymouth Library's nonfiction materials are being changed from their Dewey Decimal numbers (001 - 999) to the Library of Congress Classification system (A-Z). By December 31, all 41 Hennepin libraries will be "LC." Stop by to see the conversion team in action; it's an amazing process to watch. While you're at the library, ask a librarian for help finding your favorite, now relocated subject area.
